Can you feel the beat?!! You definitely will when the Adje Performers come to town! This Edmonton-based music group uses cultural rhythmic drum patterns and traditional African dance to engage and uplift audiences. The performances are interactive and fun and leave every audience member dancing, or at least tapping a toe.
What They Stands for!
Adje performers enjoy supporting important causes and charities around the community. Adje has preformed for events/projects aimed at various causes such as: building schools in Ghana, raising money for Haiti Earthquake Relief, and Calgary flood relief.
Adje performers say… Stay committed! Adje acknowledge the initial struggle of balancing ones personal life and talent/passion. They add that- often times, financial concerns can make things a bit difficult. Adje recommends being patient, content, and stick to what you love to do! Do not give up!
When asked what 3 things we simply cannot live without, Adje responds:
A) our wonderful group relationships!
B) our drums – which creates the live music experience.
C) performances – to showcase our skills and the beauty of music and dance.
