Ribbon Rouge Foundation, Founder & President, Moréniké currently sits on Alberta Health Services' Sexually Transmitted and Blood Borne Infections Steering Committee. Herself a self taught artist, she is an arts lover and an advocate for gender equality.

Dr. Irehobhude Iyioha

An attorney by training, Dr. Irehobhude (Ireh) Iyioha’s life work focuses on social justice advocacy through service, research, teaching and creative writing. Founder of the PEIF Fund Inc., Dr. Iyioha holds law degrees from the University of Benin (LLB with Highest Honours), the University of Toronto (LLM), the University of British Columbia (PhD), and a BL from the Nigerian Law School. She has held professorial positions, as well as research and senior health policy positions with the Governments of Ontario and Alberta. She has expertise on diverse though interrelated areas of legal research, including anti-discrimination law and health law and policy. She brings her expertise in these and other areas to Ribbon Rouge.

Elsa Robinson is a visual artist of Jamaican heritage. She creates acrylic paintings, mixed media collage, sculptures and installations. Her work addresses themes of identity, family, history and spirituality. As an Alberta certified and highly skilled teacher, Elsa creates and facilitates art workshops for children and adults.
Jesse Bhondi, MBA, BSc

Jesse Bhondi is a sophisticated and integrity driven professional with 13 years of experience in the health care sector, public service and management consulting with a strong background supporting diversity. He is recognized as a savvy leader with strengths in strategic planning, leading change, reengineering business processes, defining continuous improvement processes, facilitating brainstorming sessions, building consensus, and being part of powerful teams that can conquer any obstacles.
Jesse is originally from British Columbia’s west coast, where he earned his first Bachelor’s Degree in Nutritional Sciences from the University of British Columbia. He later earned a BSc – Kinesiologiy from the University of Alberta. He recently received his executive MBA (2015) with a focus on consulting from Royal Roads University. Jesse is proud to call Alberta home and is dedicated to giving back to his community.]

I am a Registered Nurse whose focus is primarily on women’s health which has lead me to work in Fertility, Labor & Delivery, Postpartum and medicine. This has given me the opportunity to work with persons from diverse backgrounds and cultures. My passion in global health has allowed me to use my skill set in a grassroots manner to look at ways I can facilitate change and advocacy.
